- Eligibility
This promotion is open to individuals aged 19 years or older who are active Encore Rewards members and are eligible to participate in BCLC gaming activities and promotions.
All participants must be able to produce valid government-issued identification upon request to verify their age and identity.
Individuals who are prohibited or restricted from participating in BCLC gaming activities, including individuals on a GameBreak or subject to any other applicable BCLC gaming restriction, are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
- No Purchase Necessary
No purchase is necessary to participate in this promotion.
- How to Enter
Eligible patrons may participate once per calendar day during the promotion period by physically visiting Chances Castlegar and presenting their Encore Rewards card to the designated promotion representative.
Each eligible patron will be given one (1) opportunity per day to drop one (1) Plinko chip onto the designated Plinko board. The landing position of the chip will determine the number of entry ballots awarded to the patron, ranging from one (1) to three (3) ballots, as indicated on the Plinko board.
Participation is limited to one (1) Plinko drop per person per calendar day. No purchase is required to participate.
- Ballot Completion and Submission
All ballots must be completed with the entrant’s first and last name and telephone contact number, printed clearly and legibly. Completed ballots must be deposited into the designated promotion entry receptacle to qualify for the draw.
Ballots that are incomplete, illegible, or do not contain the required contact information will be considered void and ineligible for the draw.
If a selected ballot cannot be clearly read or the entrant cannot be identified or contacted using the information provided, the ballot may be disqualified, and an alternate winner will be selected by random draw.
- Draw Details
The draw will take place at Chances Castlegar on December 12, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. The winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible ballots received throughout the promotion period.
The winner does not need to be present at the time of the draw.
- Winner Notification and Prize Collection Deadline
The selected winner will be contacted by telephone using the contact number provided on their entry ballot.
The winner will have forty-eight (48) hours from the time of notification to respond, confirm their prize selection, and arrange to collect their prize from Chances Castlegar.
If the winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, or does not collect their prize within the 48-hour period, the winner may forfeit the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected by random draw.
- Prize Selection — “This or That”
The winner will be entitled to select one (1) of the two (2) designated machines displayed within the casino as their prize. The winner is encouraged to be present at the time of the draw to personally choose their preferred machine.
If the winner is not present, they will be contacted by telephone and advised of their winnings and the available prize options.
The winner must select and accept one (1) of the two (2) designated machines on display. No cash alternative, prize substitution, exchange, or alternative prize will be offered.
- Prize Acceptance
The winner must provide valid government-issued identification and complete any required prize-acceptance documentation before the prize is released.
The prize must be accepted as awarded and collected within the specified 48-hour period following notification. Failure to meet these requirements may result in forfeiture and the selection of an alternate winner.
- Verification and Disqualification
Chances Castlegar reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant or selected winner, including age, Encore Rewards membership, identity, and eligibility to participate in BCLC gaming activities.
Any entrant who fails to meet the eligibility requirements, is subject to a gaming restriction, or submits an invalid ballot may be disqualified.
- General Conditions
Chances Castlegar reserves the right to interpret and administer these promotion rules and to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion where necessary, subject to applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
